Hi, my name is Mongai, and caring for mothers and babies has always been a natural part of who I am. Long before becoming a doula, I gained hands-on experience caring for little ones and supporting families during those tender early stages. My love for babies grew from those experiences, and so did my passion for making sure mothers are cared for, supported, and given the chance to rest and recover.
As a Cameroonian-American, this work is also deeply cultural for me. In my community, it is tradition to surround new mothers with care, love, and extra hands so that they never feel alone during postpartum. From a young age, I witnessed this way of nurturing, and it shaped my commitment to carrying those values into my work today.
I am a Certified Advanced Doula, CPR Certified, and a Certified Lactation Educator, which allows me to provide families with both compassionate support and evidence-based knowledge. Whether it’s newborn care, feeding guidance, or giving mom the break she deserves, I strive to make the transition into parenthood smoother and more joyful.
As a postpartum doula, I carry that same tradition forward. I focus on the well-being of the mother just as much as the baby whether that means offering hands-on help, sharing guidance, or simply giving mom the break she deserves. My goal is to create a safe, comforting space where both mother and baby can thrive.
For me, postpartum care is not just about tending to the baby it’s about nurturing the mother too, honoring both her recovery and her journey into motherhood.
