Catherine “Cat” Johnson

Hey there, I’m Cat! I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, however, I made my way to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend UNC Charlotte. In school I studied psychology and Spanish, where I gained a deep love for prenatal development and child-parent bonding. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and I often refer to myself as a birth companion, as I desire to serve my clients as a friend through the journey of birth and the postpartum period.

Alongside my role as a birth companion, I am also a photographer. I cherish the moments I get the opportunity to capture through my camera. My work as a photographer ranges from early pregnancy all the way to a growing family. My passion behind capturing pregnancy, birth and the early season of the postpartum period is to celebrate the changes of your body, family, and baby!
